Because they were here before us.
Because they make up 60% of Earth’s animal life.
Because they’re vital to the ecosystem by keeping different species of plants and animals in balance.
Because other animals INCLUDING HUMANS need them for sustenance.
Because without them many animals INCLUDING HUMANS would die.
No order of animal is more vital to the world than the insect, hence why they’re Mother Nature’s most successful creatures. I’m not sure what context this blogger was using, but for now I’ll say it’s understandable to have a fear of them, but downright hating them is a waste of energy. Just because they look different from us doesn’t warrant their needing to die. Going beyond moths, I think insects are amazing and beautiful creatures. They’re here to stay, and no, they’re probably not going to hurt you unless you try to hurt them. Get over it.
